65.48 Million Megapixel Camerazilla

65.48 Million Megapixels (insert evil laugh here!). Yes, Phase One has delivered the giant killer just days after Hasselblad offered up their 50 Megapixel update to the H3D line of cameras with the H3DII-50. A friend once said that 10 years ago the baseline for cameras was not that much different, and a simple $1,000 35mm could get a starting out photographer pretty far. Now to get in the game, the cost variation between top of the line and middle of the pack is bigger than HUGE. I've heard the retail on this baby is $39,000. Wow looks like its time for all of us to put off that idea of a down payment for a Porsche for another year...
