Body Art (in overdrive)

It's about that time of the year when a Freezing February is partially thawed by the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. The last few years the photography has been less than inspired. They try these silly things like body painting (that might sound good in a pre-production meeting but never quite comes off all that interesting - either in the execution or delivery). Then I find the artwork of Kim Joon out of Korea -- really interesting what he is doing with body painting and photography (as a fine art expression). Would be very cool if the people over at SI had the stone's to hire a guy like this to shoot a swimsuit layout for them.
